Rahul Tewatia had not been a household name in India until September 27. The seasoned leg-spinner began his Indian Premier League journey as early as 2014 when he was picked by the Rajasthan Royals. Tewatia did not get enough opportunities as he played only 3 matches, scoring 16 runs and picking 3 wickets in the entire season. Tewatia had put on some of the most sparkling batting displays for Rajasthan Royals during last year’s IPL in UAE.
