Malaika was previously married to Bollywood actor-director-producer Arbaaz Khan, whom she met during a coffee ad shoot in 1998. Until their divorce, she was known as Malaika Arora Khan. The couple announced their separation on March 28, 2016, citing compatibility issues, and officially divorced on May 11, 2017. They have a son, Arhaan Khan, born on November 9, 2002.
